MMMMMM..What is love and Intimacy?

What is love? I am often asked. I smile at such a simple question, an emotion that is simply free to many of us and within us, yet complex in the receiving and complex in the giving and complex even in the understanding. Then to add fuel to the fire, I am then also asked, what has sensuality and intimacy got to do with love? And once again I smile, one who understands the answer, yet not so simple to relay, because many simply do not understand.

Love and all its finest accompaniments such as lust, desire, titillation, temptation and its other wonderfully salacious followers is something that must be discovered, understood, explored and experienced.

To experience such a wonderful cacophony of desire's tempting debauchery (if I can use such a word to define what I am implying) one first has to know and understand oneself. All the above is not simply about the thrilling hump and ride of passion attained from a one night stand or the excitement and stimulation of gaining notches on the belt of “sexual conquest” just because.

Sensuality is something which is a collaboration of the emotional, the physical and the spiritual – and experiencing of sensations that sends ones senses dizzily cavorting into the tunnel of ecstasy’s lure. It’s a myriad of words, touch, senses, scents. It’s an adventure which takes one out of the comfort zone of love’s purest acts, delving the inquisitive mind into the jungle where rampaging whores, dare to experiment in the wilderness of their primal craving – and it’s all good.

Shakespeare once said "know thyself." A simple statement, yet one within where so much truth lies. Knowing yourself, loving yourself is the first step to ultimately loving another and in that truthful and authentic way when embraced with all the other wonderful sentiments of desire's frenzied partners, as mentioned above, creates a most wonderful and delicious bed upon which to explore, tantalisingly sensuality's most salacious of adventures.

The body is a wonderful cave, with many hidden crevices. The tongue always willing to journey along its contours. The hands always willing to search and explore and I leave you to conjure up yourself more wonderful things that a man or woman could do to explore sensuality further.
